At present, gold prices in India are at historically high levels. This increase reflects strong demand and global uncertainty. Over the past few years, gold prices have surged significantly, making gold both a valuable investment and a costly purchase in the short term.
Over the last year, gold prices have shown a strong upward trend with occasional fluctuations. While there are short-term dips, prices tend to recover quickly, indicating strong investor confidence. This pattern suggests that gold prices are no longer just stable but are actively influenced by global economic movements. The steady growth shows that gold continues to remain a trusted asset during uncertain times.
There are several reasons behind the rise in gold prices. One major factor is geopolitical tension, which increases demand for gold as a safe-haven investment. Inflation is another key reason, as people turn to gold to protect their purchasing power. Additionally, the weakening of the Indian rupee against the US dollar has made imports more expensive, pushing gold prices higher in India. Central banks across the world are also increasing their gold reserves, further driving demand.
The long-term growth of gold prices in India highlights its value as an investment. Decades ago, gold was available at extremely low prices compared to today. Over time, it has consistently appreciated, proving its reliability as a store of wealth. Even after short-term declines, gold prices have always shown recovery and long-term growth, making gold a preferred choice for Indian households.
Several factors influence the movement of gold prices in India. International gold rates play a major role since India imports most of its gold. Currency exchange rates also impact prices, as a weaker rupee increases costs. Seasonal demand during festivals and weddings leads to higher buying, pushing gold prices upward. Interest rates and government policies, such as import duties, also affect the overall pricing structure.
Global events play a direct and often immediate role in shaping gold prices. Gold reacts quickly to uncertainty, which is why it is known as a “safe haven” asset. When geopolitical tensions rise—such as wars, trade conflicts, or political instability—investors move their money away from risky assets like stocks and into gold. This sudden increase in demand pushes gold prices upward.
Economic conditions also matter. During recessions or slow economic growth, gold becomes more attractive because it is seen as stable. On the other hand, when economies are strong and stock markets are booming, demand for gold may slow down, causing gold prices to stabilize or dip slightly.
Inflation is another key factor. When inflation rises, the value of money decreases, but gold tends to retain its value. This makes it a preferred choice during inflationary periods, supporting higher gold prices. Even global factors like oil prices, interest rate changes by central banks, and currency fluctuations can influence gold. For example, higher interest rates may reduce gold demand temporarily, but long-term uncertainty often brings investors back to gold.
The outlook for gold prices in 2026 remains broadly positive, but not without phases of fluctuation. Most analysts expect a mix of steady growth and short-term corrections rather than a straight upward rally.
One of the biggest drivers will continue to be global uncertainty. If geopolitical tensions persist or new conflicts arise, demand for safe assets like gold will increase, pushing gold prices higher. Inflation is another strong factor. Even if inflation cools slightly, it is unlikely to disappear completely, and gold tends to perform well in such environments.
Another important aspect is central bank behavior. Many countries are increasing their gold reserves to reduce dependence on the US dollar. This sustained buying creates long-term support for gold prices. At the same time, currency movement—especially the rupee against the dollar—will directly affect domestic prices in India. A weaker rupee could push gold prices even higher locally, even if global prices remain stable.
However, 2026 will not be a one-direction market. There may be phases where gold prices correct slightly due to profit booking or strong performance in equity markets. But historically, these dips tend to be temporary. Overall, the expectation is that gold will maintain an upward bias, potentially touching new highs if global uncertainty continues.

This depends on your intent—short-term buying or long-term investment. If you are looking at gold from a short-term perspective, current gold prices may feel expensive. Buying at peak levels always carries some risk, especially if there is a temporary correction. However, trying to perfectly time the market is rarely successful.
From a long-term perspective, gold continues to be a strong asset. Over decades, gold prices have consistently increased despite periodic dips. This makes gold a reliable option for wealth preservation rather than quick returns.
A smarter approach is to invest gradually instead of making a lump-sum purchase. Buying small quantities over time helps average out the cost and reduces the impact of price volatility. For families planning wedding purchases or long-term savings, spreading purchases across months can be a practical strategy. In simple terms, gold is not about timing the market perfectly—it’s about staying invested over time.
| Factor | Digital Gold | Physical Gold |
|---|---|---|
| Form | Stored electronically | Jewellery, coins, bars |
| Storage | No physical storage needed | Requires locker or safe |
| Investment Amount | Can start with very small amounts | Requires higher upfront cost |
| Liquidity | Easy to buy and sell instantly | Selling may involve making charges or deductions |
| Safety | No risk of theft | Risk of theft or loss |
| Emotional Value | Low | High (used in weddings, traditions) |
| Purity | Usually high and standardized | May vary depending on seller |
| Making Charges | No making charges | Includes making charges in jewellery |
| Accessibility | Available through apps/platforms | Requires visiting a store |
Digital gold is practical and flexible, especially for modern investors. Physical gold, however, carries emotional and cultural significance that digital formats cannot replace. Both forms contribute to demand and influence gold prices in different ways.
| Investment Type | Gold | Stocks | Real Estate | Fixed Deposits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Risk Level | Low to moderate | High | Moderate | Low |
| Returns | Stable, long-term growth | High but volatile | Moderate, depends on location | Fixed and predictable |
| Liquidity | High | High | Low | Moderate |
| Investment Amount | Flexible | Flexible | Requires large capital | Flexible |
| Inflation Protection | Strong | Moderate | Moderate | Weak |
| Market Dependency | Less dependent | Highly dependent | Partially dependent | Not market-linked |
| Volatility | Low compared to stocks | High | Low to moderate | Very low |
| Emotional Value | High in India | None | Medium | None |
Gold stands out because it balances safety and liquidity. Unlike stocks, it is less volatile. Unlike real estate, it does not require huge capital. And unlike fixed deposits, it has the potential to keep up with inflation. These factors ensure that gold prices remain relevant and continue to attract investors across different segments.
Gold in India is more than just an investment—it is a combination of tradition, security, and financial planning. The rise in gold prices may seem concerning in the short term, but it aligns with long-term growth trends. By understanding the factors that influence gold prices, you can make smarter and more confident decisions, whether you are buying gold for personal use or investment purposes.

Personal saving means keeping a portion of your income aside rather than spending it all. It’s money intentionally reserved for emergencies, goals, investments, and future peace of mind. But beyond numbers, personal saving is a habit — one that builds discipline, independence, and control.
When you understand how to do saving, you aren’t just stacking cash. You’re teaching yourself patience and balance — learning that money is a tool for freedom, not a chain of constant stress.
Every person needs a financial cushion. But for entrepreneurs and creators, the importance of personal saving multiplies.
In short, saving is more than a financial move. It’s a psychological anchor that helps you stay strong in an unpredictable world.
Entrepreneurs often think business and personal finances are separate. In reality, they’re intertwined. If your personal life is unstable, your business will reflect that tension.
Here’s how personal saving directly improves your business performance:
Personal saving is your quiet superpower — it won’t show in your LinkedIn bio, but it’s what makes your success sustainable.
Saving isn’t magic — it’s structure. Here’s how to build a habit that lasts.
Decide your why — emergency fund, education, travel, investment, or future business security. Clear goals motivate consistency.
Transfer 10-20% of your income into your personal saving account as soon as money hits. Treat it as a mandatory bill to your future self.
Use auto-debits so saving happens before spending. That’s the easiest way to master how to do saving without relying on willpower.
Know where your money goes. Apps or simple spreadsheets can reveal unnecessary leaks. Awareness drives smarter choices.
Create multiple buckets:
Income changes — so should your saving percentage. The goal is steady progress, not perfection.

Once you’ve built a habit, the next step is understanding where to invest personal saving so that your money grows intelligently.
a) Emergency fund in liquid accounts: Keep your short-term safety net easily accessible — a high-interest savings or liquid fund.
b) Fixed deposits or recurring deposits: Ideal for conservative savers who value safety and guaranteed returns.
c) Mutual funds / SIPs: For long-term growth, invest monthly through Systematic Investment Plans. Compounding builds wealth while keeping contributions manageable.
d) Self-investment: Use part of your saving to learn — courses, workshops, certifications. These give the highest lifetime ROI.
e) Diversify: Never put all eggs in one basket. Spread across fixed, liquid, and equity-based investments. Diversification keeps your saving stable through market changes.
f) Keep business separate: Your saving is your backup — not your business piggy bank. Mixing them is a recipe for confusion and risk.
Every quality that makes someone good at saving also makes them a better businessperson.
If you can control your personal money, you can control your business cash flow.
When your personal saving is in place:
That sense of stability changes how you show up every day — calm, confident, and capable.
Even disciplined entrepreneurs fall into traps:
Let’s clear a few common misconceptions that stop entrepreneurs from building financial discipline:
That’s backward. Personal saving is what gives you stability to build the business. Even ?1000 monthly matters.
Not always. Your business already carries risk. Saving should be your safe zone, not your gamble zone.
Wrong. Saving doesn’t kill ambition — it fuels sustainable ambition. You can’t grow if you’re broke.
You become rich because you start early. Compounding rewards the consistent, not the wealthy.
Actually, it’s freedom disguised as discipline. The peace you feel knowing your bills are covered is unmatched.
Facing these fears is half the battle. The rest is consistent action.
If you’re an Indian entrepreneur, freelancer, or small business owner, these tools will help you decide where to invest personal saving safely and smartly.
Checks before investing:
Imagine you run a creative agency or blog. You’ve practiced saving for a year. You know exactly where to invest personal saving and have a 6-month emergency fund.
When a big client delays payment, you stay calm. Bills are paid, your team’s salaries aren’t delayed, and you continue to operate with dignity. That’s what personal saving does — it transforms chaos into control.
Weekly rhythm:
Routines make saving automatic and effortless.
Personal saving isn’t about greed — it’s about peace. Each rupee saved is a statement of self-respect. It’s saying, I’ve got my back.
As that confidence grows, so does your business courage. You start operating from purpose, not panic. That’s the emotional backbone of long-term success.
Stability Before Scale :Before chasing profits, build your base. A house without foundation collapses — the same goes for business without personal saving. When you know how to do personal saving and where to invest personal saving, you create a structure that supports ambition instead of crushing it.
Personal saving turns your business from a survival act into a growth journey. It brings power, peace, and perspective — three things every entrepreneur desperately needs. So start today. Move a small amount to a separate account. Label it “My Freedom Fund.” That’s your first step toward empowered growth — the quiet proof that you’re building not just a business, but a life that lasts.

This means AU Bank — which started as a small finance bank — is now one step closer to becoming a full-fledged bank like HDFC, ICICI, or SBI. It’s a major upgrade and a proud moment for the bank and its customers.
Official news here:
A Universal Bank is allowed to do all kinds of banking services under one roof. This includes:
In simple words: AU Bank will soon be able to provide all the services that a full commercial bank does.
AU Small Finance Bank is based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It started as a finance company and became a small finance bank in 2017. Over the years, it has built a strong name in rural and semi-urban areas, especially in states like Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh.

Universal Banks are subject to stricter regulations by RBI compared to Small Finance Banks. This means:
Customers will feel more secure keeping their money with AU Bank, knowing it’s playing in the big league now.
Currently, AU Bank has limitations in offering services to NRIs and large corporates. With universal status:

As AU transitions, you’ll likely see:

Banks aren’t just places where you stash your money. They are the arteries of the economy, pumping funds into homes, businesses, farms, factories, and startups. If bank is lending confidently, it usually means people are borrowing to grow, spend, build, and invest. If bank tighten lending or pull back, it’s a red flag that things are not looking great.
So if you want to get a real, no-spin sense of India’s economic health, skip the headlines and start watching the banks.
Think of banks like mood rings for the economy. They react quickly to changes. When business is good, bank will go full throttle—approving loans, supporting startups, expanding rural outreach. When times are uncertain, they get cautious: fewer loans, stricter credit checks, and more focus on collecting old debts.
This is why economists, investors, and even policymakers closely track what banks are doing. They know bank reflect what’s happening on the ground, sometimes even before official data does.
Currently, Indian banks are sitting in a mixed zone. On one hand, they are better capitalised than ever before. Bad loans have come down. Digital services have exploded, making banking faster and more efficient. But despite all this, banks are still a bit cautious.
Why? Because they’re seeing signals that make them nervous: patchy consumer demand, slower job growth, and businesses postponing big expansions. So while the bank have the money, they aren’t throwing it around just yet.
One major player influencing banks is the RBI. When the central bank changes interest rates or liquidity policies, it directly affects how much they can lend and at what cost. Recently, the RBI has been trying to make money more available, gently nudging them to lend more by reducing borrowing costs.
But here’s the twist: bank aren’t always quick to act. They need to feel confident that their loans will be paid back. If they sense hesitation among borrowers—whether it’s a farmer, a builder, or a tech company—they hold back.
This hesitation tells us something important: even though the RBI is signaling support, banks are still unsure about how strong the recovery really is.
Let’s say you’re applying for a home loan and the bank delays approval or demands more paperwork. Or maybe your friend’s small business is struggling to get credit. That’s not just frustrating—it’s a clue.
When these stories repeat across cities and sectors, it tells us that bank is playing it safe. And when bank get cautious, it usually points to a slowdown in consumer confidence, job growth, or business investment.
So if you hear that bank are becoming stricter or reducing loan approvals, it’s time to ask: why? What are they seeing that the rest of us haven’t fully realized yet?
Small businesses depend heavily on banks. They don’t have big investor money or global backers. A local café, tailoring shop, or logistics company often survives on loans and credit lines from bank.
When bank feel optimistic, they support these businesses, which in turn hire more people, buy more supplies, and fuel local economies. But when bank tighten credit, these businesses suffer first and hardest.
So watching how bank treat small business owners is a smart way to measure whether the economy is genuinely moving or just coasting on hope.

One exciting trend is the rise of digital banking. Fintech platforms, mobile apps, and UPI have changed how we bank. Transactions are faster, records are cleaner, and financial data is easier to track.
This digital leap has helped banks serve more people, especially in smaller towns and rural areas. It also means banks can spot risks faster and respond more quickly.
If a bank app suddenly reduces personal loan offers or increases EMI rates, that’s a sign that things might be tightening. When several apps or banks follow suit, it could point to a wider economic concern.
Public banks (like SBI, PNB, Bank of Baroda) often follow government priorities. They lend for infrastructure, farming, education, and rural development. Private banks (like HDFC Bank, ICICI, Axis) focus more on urban markets, personal finance, and corporate clients.
So if you want to know how the entire economy is doing, you need to track both. If private banks are growing but public banks are slow, it might mean rural or small-town India is lagging. If both are cautious, then the whole economy might be slowing.
You don’t have to be an expert to track bank. Here are a few simple ways:
When a major bank updates its lending policy, it’s often a reflection of wider market sentiment.
Remember, banks don’t predict the economy. They respond to it. If banks are cautious, it’s not because they have a crystal ball. It’s because their customers—you, me, businesses—are giving them reasons to pause. So when we say bank is a good signal of the economy, we mean they reflect the collective decisions of millions of people. Their actions are shaped by our choices, habits, and concerns.
What You Can Learn by Watching Bank
In the coming months, banks will face choices. Should they lend more to revive demand? Or should they wait it out and protect their balance sheets? Their decision will depend on many factors: how the monsoon plays out, what the global economy does, and how Indian consumers behave.
But one thing is certain: whatever the bank decide will ripple through the economy. Jobs, investments, salaries, savings—everything flows through the banking system in one way or another.
The economy can feel abstract. It’s shaped by distant policies and global events. But banks bring it closer to home. They touch your finances directly. So if you want to understand where India is going, don’t just follow the stock market or viral headlines. Watch the bank. Watch how they talk, lend, grow, or retreat. Their behavior reflects the real economy, not just the hopeful version we see on TV.
In short, the best way to predict the economy might just be this: see what the banks are doing. Because when bank move, the country follows.

]]>Many savvy investors have their eyes locked on NSE unlisted share price today, anticipating massive gains once the company goes public. The demand for these shares is rising steadily in the unlisted space, especially on curated platforms like Unlisted Ideas, where transparency, ease of access, and expert guidance make investing a breeze.
So whether you’re a retail investor or a high-net-worth individual looking to diversify, understanding the dynamics of NSE share price unlisted is crucial. By the end of this blog, you’ll be armed with everything you need to make an informed move.
NSE unlisted shares are equity holdings in the National Stock Exchange that are not yet available for public trading on the NSE itself. In other words, these shares are currently being bought and sold in the grey or pre-IPO market. This means retail investors can become part-owners of NSE before it hits the stock market, potentially unlocking massive value when the IPO drops.

But let’s break it down further.
Unlisted shares are often held by promoters, employees, early investors, or venture capitalists. Over time, these stakeholders may wish to offload some of their holdings. At Unlisted Ideas, detailed reports and valuation models are shared with registered investors, offering predictive insights and exit strategies.
Ever wondered why NSE share price is such a buzzword among retail investors?
It’s not just about the returns—though those are impressive—it’s about exclusivity, early-mover advantage, and the sheer clout that NSE holds in India’s financial ecosystem. Owning shares of the National Stock Exchange feels like owning a slice of the financial backbone of the country. That’s powerful—and investors know it.
Here’s what makes NSE unlisted shares a hot commodity in investment circles:
NSE dominates over 90% of India’s equity derivatives market. That’s not just dominance—it’s near-total market capture. This makes its future earnings predictable, which appeals to both seasoned and beginner investors.
Every day that passes brings us closer to the NSE IPO, which is expected to be one of India’s biggest. Retail investors are scrambling to secure shares before the IPO launch, hoping to bank hefty listing gains.
Platforms like Twitter, Reddit, Telegram groups, and YouTube channels are all buzzing about NSE unlisted share price today. Testimonials from those who made huge gains by investing early only fan the flames of curiosity.
Gone are the days when only institutional investors had access to such deals. Today, retail investors can easily invest through Unlisted Ideas, a platform that levels the playing field and provides everything from research to transaction execution.

India, as one of the fastest-growing digital economies in the world, has seen a sharp increase in the frequency and sophistication of cyberattacks in recent years. According to recent reports, India is facing a massive surge in cybercrimes, with sectors such as healthcare, government, banking, and education being the prime targets of cybercriminals. These threats range from phishing attacks and ransomware to advanced persistent threats (APTs) that target sensitive government data and private sector information.
The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has recorded an alarming increase in cyber incidents, with more than 10,000 cyberattacks in 2020 alone. The pandemic-induced shift to digital operations has only exacerbated this vulnerability, with many organizations struggling to keep up with the growing cyber threat landscape. This situation underscores the need for proactive cybersecurity measures, especially in organizations that handle sensitive data.
These trends highlight a critical vulnerability: human error. Cyberattacks often succeed due to lapses in employee awareness and weak security practices. With the increasing reliance on IT infrastructure, educating IT staff on cybersecurity best practices has never been more essential.
To safeguard against cyberattacks, organizations must implement a structured and ongoing training program for their IT staff. Key components include:
1. Comprehensive Awareness Programs
Regular awareness sessions are critical to keeping IT staff updated on the latest threats and security protocols. These programs should cover key areas such as:
2. Role-Based Training
Different IT roles face varying security challenges. Tailoring training programs based on job responsibilities ensures that each team member is equipped with relevant and practical knowledge.
3. Hands-On Exercises and Simulations
Simulated phishing attacks, malware detection drills, and incident response simulations help assess the readiness of your IT staff and identify areas for improvement.
4. Regular Assessments and Feedback
Regular assessments ensure that the training programs are effective and up-to-date with the latest cyber threats. Providing feedback allows IT staff to continually improve their cybersecurity skills.
In response to the growing threat of cyberattacks, the Government of India has launched several initiatives aimed at strengthening the nation’s cybersecurity framework. Stocks, also known as equities, represent ownership shares in a company. When you purchase a stock, you essentially become a partial owner of that company, entitling you to a portion of its profits and assets. The value of your investment fluctuates based on the company’s performance and broader market conditions.
Mutual funds are investment vehicles that pool money from multiple investors to purchase a diversified portfolio of securities, including stocks, bonds, and other assets. They are managed by professional fund managers who make investment decisions on behalf of the investors.

The safety of stocks versus mutual funds is a topic of ongoing debate, particularly in light of recent economic developments. Several factors influence the relative safety of these investment options:
Stocks vs. Mutual Funds
| Feature | Stocks | Mutual Funds |
|---|---|---|
| Ownership | Direct ownership in a company | Indirect ownership via fund shares |
| Risk Level | High | Moderate |
| Potential Returns | High | Moderate |
| Diversification | Limited, unless investing in multiple stocks | High, due to pooled investments |
| Management | Self-managed | Professionally managed |
| Liquidity | High | Moderate to High |
| Investment Knowledge Required | High | Low to Moderate |
| Minimum Investment | Varies | Lower minimums available |
| Expense Ratio | Transaction costs apply | Management fees & expense ratios apply |
Recent trends indicate a significant shift in investor preferences:

For investors seeking authoritative information on investing in stocks, government resources can provide valuable insights and guidelines. These platforms offer educational materials, regulatory updates, and tools to assist investors in making informed decisions. You can refer to the official government portal on Investing in Stocks for detailed guidance.
Determining whether stocks or mutual funds are safer depends on individual financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment horizons. Stocks offer the potential for higher returns but come with increased risk and require active management. Mutual funds provide diversification and professional management, offering a balanced approach suitable for many investors.
In the current economic climate, characterized by market volatility and evolving investment landscapes, a well-considered strategy that aligns with personal financial objectives is essential. Consulting with financial advisors and leveraging reputable resources can further enhance investment decisions, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs and circumstances.
Ultimately, both stocks and mutual funds have roles to play in a diversified investment portfolio. Understanding their distinct characteristics and aligning them with your financial goals will guide you toward making informed and effective investment choices.

The worst thing you can do in a falling market is panic-sell your investments. The stock market moves in cycles, and history has shown that it always bounces back. Instead of reacting emotionally, think long-term. If you’re investing for goals like retirement, your focus should be on where the market will be years from now, not just today.

When prices drop, you have the chance to invest in strong companies at a discount. This is known as buying the dip—a strategy successful investors use to maximize long-term gains.
Important : Look for fundamentally strong companies with solid business models and good financials.
“Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.” When the market falls, some sectors perform better than others. Spreading your money across stocks, bonds, real estate, and gold can help reduce risk. Defensive sectors like healthcare, utilities, and consumer goods tend to perform better during downturns.
Important : Balance your investments across different asset classes to protect against losses.
If you’re unsure how to invest when the market is falling, SIPs can be a great solution. Instead of investing a lump sum, you put in a fixed amount every month. This method, called rupee-cost averaging, helps you buy more units when prices are low and fewer when they are high—keeping your overall investment cost lower.
Important : Stay consistent with your SIPs, even during market downturns.
When markets are volatile, fixed-income options like government bonds, fixed deposits (FDs), and debt mutual funds provide stability. These investments offer lower risk and predictable returns, which can balance out the fluctuations in your stock portfolio.
Important : Allocate a portion of your investments to safer options for financial security.

Before investing during a market downturn, make sure you have enough savings to cover unexpected expenses. The last thing you want is to sell investments at a loss because you need quick cash.
Important : Keep at least 6 months of living expenses in a liquid emergency fund.
Many investors try to predict the perfect time to buy or sell. The truth? Even experts struggle to get it right! Instead of waiting for the “perfect moment”, focus on investing consistently and staying patient.
Important : Invest based on your financial goals, not on short-term market movements.
Some companies are better equipped to survive economic downturns. These are companies with:
Important : Research and invest in companies that have survived past market downturns successfully.
If you’re investing in India, options like PPF (Public Provident Fund), NPS (National Pension System), and ELSS (Equity-Linked Savings Scheme) not only offer good returns but also help save on taxes.
Important : Use tax-efficient investments to maximize gains while saving money.
If you’re unsure how to invest when the market is falling, a financial advisor can guide you. They can help create a plan that fits your risk tolerance, financial goals, and current market conditions.
Important : Consult an expert before making major investment decisions.

This is the section of the Income Tax Act that provides relief from past income receipts in the present year due to differences in tax rates between the year of receipt and the year to which the income pertains. This relief is ensured by recalculating the tax outflows on income arrears based on the applicable tax rates for both years. Tax outflow increases owing to the inclusion of arrears in the current year’s slab can be adjusted under Section 89 (1).
Thus, if your total income includes earlier dues paid in the present year, this section comes into play. If you have received a part of your salary as advance/arrears or a family pension as arrears, you can get tax relief under the same.
In case you are eligible to get tax relief on salary received in advance/arrears, then Form 10E has to be filed. It is compulsory to fill out this form whenever you want to claim relief under Section 89 (1). This offers relief for delayed salary paid as arrears or a family pension received similarly. It also applies to advance salary, commuted pension, gratuity, and compensation upon employment termination, provided the lump-sum receipt leads to a higher tax liability in the year of receipt.
Read More about the Difference between TDS and TCS

You can file Form 10E online with these steps:
From FY 2014-15, the Income Tax Department has made filing Form 10E compulsory for those looking to get relief as per Section 89 (1). Those claiming the same but not filing the form may receive notices from the department as a result.
You cannot download this form and file it offline. It has to be filed online prior to submitting the income tax returns. Also, remember that Section 89 (1) does not offer any relief for VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme) compensation when an exemption has already been claimed under Section 10 (10C).
